HOLLYWOOD COMES TO KEMAH
KEMAH, TEXAS
-On September 18th, 2010, Hollywood comes to Kemah TX.
The Texas Celebrity Impersonators Festival with be
taking place. There will be a stage with live music by the ' Texas
Blues Brothers Tribute' and also Kristy Casey a nationally
recognized Marilyn Monroe impersonator and tribute. There will be art
cars in the Hollywood theme, celebrity impersonator contests for
professionals, amateur's, and kids. There will also be
amusement rides for the kids, food and drinks, and lots of market
vendors for festival goers to enjoy some shopping.
The Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival is also taking
place in Kemah on the 17th, 18th, and 19th of September 2010. The goal
of the
film festival is to promote
independent film makers in the
state of Texas. Festival Director Hal Wixon says,
“This year we are expecting films, in every genre. This year’s festival
is going to be one of the best festivals we have had”

The festival takes place from 11am to dusk at
600 Bradford Avenue, in Kemah,
just one block away from the
Kemah Boardwalk. Great fun for
the entire family and especially for kids! Come out and see the stars,
dress up as your favorite celebrity, get your picture taken with all the
impersonators, and have a great time!

Events and Amusements' in co-operation with 'The City of Kemah' present the '1st Annual
Texas Celebrity Impersonators Festival'.

This is being
billed as the 'Hollywood comes to Kemah' weekend. The Gulf Coast Film &
Video Festival is also taking place in Kemah the 17th of September thru
the 19th. The goal of the film festival is to promote independent film
makers in the state of Texas.

June 22nd 2010 - Marylin Monroe Impersonator
and Tribute
Kristy Casey, recently featured in
People Magazine with the review of "The Next Best Thing": Kristy started
impersonating Marilyn at Universal Studios , where she sang at Mel's
Diner, did shows with the Blues Brothers, and many special events in and
outside the park. She is a consummate seasoned performer. Blessed with
the ability to sing, it is what she loves to do along with acting.

June 21st 2010 - The Texas Blues Brothers Tribute
The Texas Blues Brothers Tribute is signed on to
the festival to play the main stage.
